Paul’s creative design for Reckless at City Stage in Union Station allowed this play to move like lighting from scene to scene – many, many scenes. Paul’s design for Taking Sides was historically accurate and evocative of a German bunker in the war-torn rubble of Berlin.
Paul worked for me as technical director for my play Sparts Radio, and built an excellent scale model of the new Copaken Stage for Kansas City Repertory Theatre. Theatrical Services was formed in 2002 by Kansas City native, Paul Arthur Ebeling. Paul began his relationship with live entertainment as a performer when he was only ten years old. With a concentration in various magic and illusion shows, it’s estimated that over 250,000 people have seen Paul perform in some capacity over the last fifteen years. In college, Paul pursued his theatrical interests on the technical side and earned a theatre degree from the University of Missouri – Kansas City, with an emphasis in Design and Technology.
